This means that the successful UK applicants will receive full funding for their University and College fees, as well as a stipend of \u00a318,000 p.a. On the other hand, EU applicants will be funded only on a fees-only basis, unless they meet the MRC\u2019s eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n<h2>Eligibility Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>To be eligible for the MRC Cancer Unit PhD studentship, applicants must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold or expect to obtain at least an upper second-class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific subject.<\/li>\n<li>Be a UK or EU citizen, as the scholarship is open only to UK and EU applicants.<\/li>\n<li>Meet the English language proficiency requirements set by the University of Cambridge.<\/li>\n<li>Register with the University of Cambridge as a PhD student if selected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Application Procedure<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>How to Apply: All applications must be submitted through the University Application Portal.
