One of the most anticipated films of 2023 unfolds in a first look.\u00a0Warner Bros.\u00a0is releasing a humorous\u00a0Barbie<\/i>\u00a0<\/strong>teaser this Friday , in which actress Margot Robbie lends her features to the famous doll.\u00a0One minute of hilarious images between endless legs, glamorous silhouette and apocalypse scene.<\/p>\n

“BARBIE”, THE MOVIE: MARGOT ROBBIE BECOMES THE FAMOUS DOLL IN A DELIRIOUS FIRST TEASER<\/h2>\n

The teaser opens with a desert landscape where a group of little girls are playing with dolls.\u00a0“Since the dawn of time, since the first little girl in history, there have been dolls”, says a voice-over.\u00a0The credits music from\u00a02001: A Space Odyssey by<\/i> Stanley\u00a0Kubrick\u00a0– begins to sound, as the narrative continues:<\/p>\n

“But these dolls were, again and again, infants”, we hear while the little girls serve tea to their plastic babies.\u00a0“Until the day where…”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Then appears Margot Robbie, several meters high, while the epic music of Richard Strauss is in full swing. Little girls approach this new kind of doll like an icon and, immediately fascinated, smash their old dolls to pieces by smashing them against each other. Follows a series of images from the film \u2013 we see in particular Ryan Gosling, who will play Ken \u2013 and the American release date, July 21 (the 19 in France).<\/p>\n

Robbie’s mysterious film\u00a0that will “get out of the frame”<\/h2>\n

Barbie<\/i>\u00a0is directed by actress and filmmaker\u00a0Greta Gerwig , the new face of American alternative cinema .\u00a0The secret remains well kept as to the scenario of this first film in real shots on this doll created in 1959 by Mattel.<\/p>\n

Margot Robbie had promised in 2020 in the columns of\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/i>\u00a0that\u00a0Barbie<\/i>\u00a0would look nothing like what one might expect.\u00a0“We like things that go a little out of the frame,” she said.\u00a0“Our goal is that no matter what you’re thinking, we’ll give you something completely different. The stuff you never expected.”<\/p>\n
