It&#8217;s about 20 minutes from one end to the other<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> . The parks are about three minutes walk from each other.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1536162738362_28461\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Marne-la-Vall\u00e9e \u2014 Chessy train station<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> is located next to <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Disneyland Paris. This station provides access to central Paris (about 45 minutes by train) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (&#8220;CDG&#8221;) (10 minutes by train). We discuss getting to and from Disneyland Paris by train a bit more below.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1536842556939_70109\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Along with Davy Crockett Farm and Nature Villages in Paris, Disney hotels are all within a 5- to 15-minute walk of Disney Village which is in turn adjacent to the parks. The Disneyland Hotel is located at the gate to Disneyland Park, overlooking the park. In 2022, the park gets a &#8220;new&#8221; Avengers coaster (re-theme of the Rock &#8216;n&#8217; Roller Coaster) and Spider-Man ride (also found in Disney California Adventure), and sometime in the next two years, it should open up Frozen Land. This will make the park more interesting to visit.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1520224127484_25890\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<h2><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Should you visit Disneyland Paris?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There are four international Disney destinations, each with its own potential. This is in addition to two US destinations with theme parks, three US resorts, and Disney Cruise Line. <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">So, should you visit Disneyland Paris?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1681145892306_615411\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In our opinion, if you&#8217;ve visited both American theme park resorts (Walt Disney World and Disneyland) and have taken a Disney Cruise, it&#8217;s time to consider Disneyland Paris.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1572025519069_56313\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There are a number of reasons why you should visit Disneyland Paris before hitting an American destination. <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But we think covering both US resorts (and a cruise) before visiting Disneyland Paris is reasonable.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1572025519069_57212\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It should go without saying that this doesn&#8217;t answer &#8220;You should visit Paris\/France\/Europe.&#8221; As world travel enthusiasts, we would of course ask you to visit Europe and Paris specifically in no time, even before <\/span><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">any<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> Disney destinations. And if you&#8217;re in Paris, it&#8217;s easy to get into Disneyland Paris.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1572025519069_58219\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But if you&#8217;re trying to decide on your next <\/span><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Disney<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> vacation , we prioritize our American theme parks and cruise. In fact, every Disney World Resort is the real Disney. We generally recommend them all. Disneyland Paris <\/span><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">is different<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , but it&#8217;s totally Disney.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1681145892306_617020\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">So what is it? <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">As a resort, it&#8217;s kind of a combination of Disneyland and Walt Disney World. <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It&#8217;s small, with only two parks like Disneyland. But it&#8217;s in a bubble, with quite a few hotels, like Walt Disney World. With limited exceptions, you can walk everywhere.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1571932203509_48672\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Besides the unique attractions (listed below), it&#8217;s a bit hard to describe what makes Disneyland Paris different. You&#8217;ll just have to trust us (and not our poor photography skills) that <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Disneyland Paris is absolutely beautiful.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Outside of Tokyo DisneySea, this is the best physically organized theme park Disney has ever created. Very little seems out of place, and the resort offers amazing sightlines. Disneyland Paris makes better use of its space than any other Disney castle park. This concept has emerged in comment after comment, experience after experience. Disneyland Paris is an amazing destination that fails in the weirdest and most important ways. <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Like when we waited an hour to check into our hotel.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1536842556939_95747\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">You&#8217;ll sit and marvel at the view, say the view from the Queen of Hearts&#8217; castle. Then you&#8217;ll spend 30 minutes in line for an awful carton of undercooked pasta.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1572025519069_59793\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">You will get lost and fall in love with Adventure Isle. Then you&#8217;ll be rudely yelling that Fantasyland is closing and you need to go to the front of the park to make your way anywhere else.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Why would you feed someone this?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1536842556939_92262\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Disneyland Paris never ceases to amaze, but it also never ceases to disappoint. The disappointments are <\/span><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">somewhat<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> cultural \u00a0. Europeans have a different concept of customer service than Americans. But it also works to an extent &#8211; waiting an hour to check into a hotel isn&#8217;t cultural, for example. Our Walt Disney Studios Park rides guide covers that park.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1572025519069_61311\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Here&#8217;s a quick overview of what you&#8217;re missing if you&#8217;re sitting outside:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Avengers Assemble: Flying Force<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &#8211; Avengers Themed Coaster<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Cars: Road Trip<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &#8211; a re-imagining of the old studio tram ride<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Crush&#8217;s Coaster<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &#8211; Finding Nemo coaster game, very fun<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Alice&#8217;s Curious Labyrinth<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> is a hedge maze with a small castle and great views at the end; It is also featured (without the castle) in Shanghai Disneyland<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Indiana Jones and The Temple of Peril<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &#8211; A short roller coaster ride, usually with no wait times<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Le Ch\u00e2teau de la Belle au Bois Dormant<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> is Disneyland Park&#8217;s castle. It is our favorite Disney castle in the world. It includes a dragon underneath, which is one of the coolest animation techniques in the world<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Phantom Manor<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &#8211; Fine &#8211; It&#8217;s &#8220;just&#8221; a copy of the Haunted Mansion, but it&#8217;s a fine hotel with a unique setting in its own land<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This list supports our point above.\u00a0<\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">No, Disneyland Paris is no better than Walt Disney World or Disneyland. But it&#8217;s different enough to warrant a visit (in addition to being 35 minutes from Paris).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1582312371671_245497\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Keep in mind that even some games that aren&#8217;t completely unique are still noteworthy. The Big Thunder Mountain railway in Paris is considered one of the best. First let&#8217;s talk about some of the upcoming changes to the resort.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1572030826132_66287\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<h3><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">2023 (and beyond) changes in Disneyland Paris | Hack in paris back at disneyland at the end of june<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Disneyland Paris is celebrating its 30th anniversary through September 30, 2023 and the event includes special merchandise and entertainment, including a new nighttime drone show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Disney recently added an Avengers Campus to the Walt Disney Studios Park. The land includes two phases. Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is a redesign of the movie Rock &#8216;n&#8217; Roller Coaster. Spider-Man WEB Adventures is a shooter almost identical to Disney California Adventure.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1681145892306_639847\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We&#8217;re not considering any of these reasons to rush to Disneyland Paris, but there&#8217;s another big change on the horizon &#8211; Arendelle. Despite everything that has happened in the past few years, that land is still being built. The opening date has not been announced, but we expect 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1572030826132_67398\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Personally, I would wait for the new frozen land to open before making my next visit (if regular visiting isn&#8217;t part of my job). <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Disney also announced earlier that a version of Star Wars: Galaxy&#8217;s Edge will be coming to Walt Disney Studios Park. That has since been cut short, which means the resort isn&#8217;t likely to see massive business anytime soon after the frozen land.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1571932203509_49587\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<h3><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Disneyland Paris crowd and peak pricing calendars<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We don&#8217;t think you need to choose when to visit Disneyland Paris based on crowd levels. You&#8217;ll be able to see everything in two to three days no matter the level of crowding (we present the park&#8217;s trails below). The resort also uses a park reservation system now, which should keep crowds from getting out of control.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1536162738362_36699\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The must-see Disneyland Paris crowd calendar is over at Q Times. You can also look at ticket prices (peak prices usually mean worse crowds) as a guide. But if crowd expectations were to have <\/span><em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">any<\/span><\/em><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> effect on my planning, I might add one night to my peak-time stay.
