Watching the Netflix movie Who’s a Good Boy? which does not contain spoilers.

Netflix teen comedy movie, Who is the good boy? He plays the Mexican version of the classic sex comedy American pie. the hero of the story , Chima (Sebastian Dante), is your usual awkward virgin, who wants nothing more than to pop a cherry before graduation. All his classmates seem to be getting some, but poor geeky Chema feels like the odd one out. As you would expect, this is evil comedy It follows the usual cliches of the genre right down to the letter itself, but still works as a kind of harmless fun nonetheless, with enough redeeming qualities to keep viewers entertained until the end credits.

It’s the first day of school and Chema meets his best friends Hugo (Diego Melendez) And the Robin (Harold Azwara) To discuss their opportunities with the ladies in this final year. First up is the birthday party and this sweetheart trio needs to book dates ASAP for the biggest night of their lives. Chema rolls his eyes at Eli, but his friends joke that she’s practically his cousin and that she’s out of his league anyway. Robin is pretty much taken in, while Hugo isn’t picky at all. Chema’s friends have lost their virginity and Chema feels like he’s being left behind.

Even Chema’s teachers are aware of his poor reputation and call him a softie (el suave). And he’s a pushover, accepting his usual responsibilities of cleaning up the cat litter without hesitation. Chema is then called upon to take on another duty, but this may be worth his time. The teacher asks Chema to show the new kid around, who just so happens to be Claudia (Serena Ortiz)Nice bomb from Acapulco. Chema falls madly in love with this girl and happily fulfills her every wish. He offers to drive her to and from school, as well as take yoga and pole dancing classes with her, which aren’t cheap. He is obsessed with the beginner and will literally do whatever you ask.

Unfortunately, Chema soon finds himself in the friend zone, with everyone at school referring to him as Claudia’s dog. Cute kid Sebas (Yankel Stefan) He seizes his chance and moves as the Chema world collapses around him. He alienates his closest friends and family members and has annoyed his potential love interest Eli with this unhealthy infatuation with Claudia. It’s pretty easy to see where this is all headed, and the formula comedy doesn’t deviate from the teen rom-com build, not even once.

It’s all fairly straightforward, which is a shame, as there are so many pluses. The family subplot makes for an encouraging addition to the overall story. Whereas the camaraderie between Chema and his closest friends reaches just the right level of cuteness in a short period of time. There are a few laugh-out-loud moments as well, though these are staple teen comedy jokes that have been done to death many times before. However, they stand out as the main highlights of this movie.

Inclusive, Who is the good boy? It works almost like a standard teen comedy, with just enough risque humor to satisfy teen audiences and enough romance to keep viewers interested until the very end. There’s nothing new or original about the length of this Netflix feature, and the predictable layout makes this a completely forgettable show. American pie It felt fresh in 1999, but this movie franchise is over 20 years old now, and the genre deserves reinvention, not just carbon copies for the current generation.
