Noah Centineo turned to comedy in 2009 and thus began his acting career in the family adventure TV movie Croc d’or . It was at the age of 16 that the teenager left his native Florida to try his luck in Los Angeles. He then joined the Disney team for a few appearances in the Austin and Ally series , Shake It Up! and Jessie , as well as in the television movie The Ideal Boy (2014) broadcast on Disney Channel. In 2013, he can also be found on the Nickelodeon teen channel in the comedy Marvin Marvin .

Chaining secondary roles, the young actor gained notoriety in 2015 when he joined the cast of the hit series The Fosters during its third season. He took over the role of Jesus Adams Foster, replacing actor Jake T. Austin after his departure from the series. Appreciated by the public, he was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards in 2017. The Fosters ends after 5 seasons in 2018 but the adventures of the famous blended family continue in a spin-off – Good Trouble (2019) – centered on the sisters of Jesus , which gives Noah Centineo the opportunity to reprise his role on an ad hoc basis.
Meanwhile, the actor turns to the thriller with the series T@gged , in which he appears alongside Katelyn Nacon ( The Walking Dead ), then with the feature film Can’t Take It Back (2017). The young man then tries out the genre that will make him famous, the romantic comedy, with SPF-18 (2017), his first main role in the cinema. He then shares the poster with the young Carson Meyer but also the legends Rosanna Arquette , Molly Ringwald , Goldie Hawn and Keanu Reeves .
It was finally in August 2018, on the occasion of the worldwide release of the romantic comedy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before on Netflix, that Noah Centineo’s career took off. The film is an international success and the world falls under the spell of the young actor who lends his features to the now famous Peter Kavinsky. Alongside Lana Condor , Noah Centineo becomes, overnight, a true generational phenomenon.
His status as a youth darling was confirmed the following month with the release of a second Netflix production, Sierra Burgess is a loser , in which he starred opposite Shannon Purser ( Stranger Things ). Seen in the comedy Swiped at the end of 2018, the actor reconnects with romance in The Perfect Date (2019) with Camila Mendes and Laura Marano . He plays Brooks Rattigan, a young man who, in order to raise funds for the university, creates a dating application in which he offers himself as a replacement boyfriend for any type of situation.
Building on his success, Noah Centineo was announced in October 2018 for the casting of the reboot Charlie’s Angels (2019) directed by and starring Elizabeth Banks . He joined a shock team composed of Kristen Stewart , Naomi Scott , Sam Claflin or Patrick Stewart . He returns to the role that made him famous in 2020 and 2021 with the other two parts of the trilogy To all the boys, PS I still love you and For always and forever .
In 2022, he is showing the first blockbuster of his career with Black Adam , a DC Comics superhero film worn by Dwayne Johnson . He embodies Al Rothstein, a member of the Justice Society capable of modifying his molecular structure to grow and become the immense Atom Smasher. The actor is soon expected in the Netflix spy series The Recruit and to star in The Diary, a new production by Jackie Chan .
