We had the premiere of two episodes of Welcome to Chippendales on me HuluAnd it was a qualitative leap for what awaits the series. Below, we’re sharing everything that happened in Episodes 1 and 2 and getting you ready for what’s to come in Episode 3.
- We meet Somen, a gas station manager who doesn’t like his job. While he is rearranging the shop, two kids come in and steal some beer from him. As he tries to confront them, one of the children splashes beer over him, and they mock his tone.
- We meet Chief Sumen, who invites him to his house for dinner. Shortly after his arrival, Soomen was offered the job of general manager for all seven gas stations for the job he did at the store. However, he tells his boss that he doesn’t want the job because he has saved his money to open a table spot.
- The restaurant will not open as planned.
- One night a couple shows up, and just as they are about to leave, Somin stops them. It was Paul and Dorothy, the latter set to pose for Playboy, and Paul says he is the club’s promoter. Sumen makes a deal that gives Paul 25% of the company in return, and helps out with the company.
- After six weeks, things will not go as planned. Later that night, Somin realizes that Paul’s watch is fake and that he lied about everything. Reducing its rate from 25 to 5%.
- From mud wrestling to oyster eating contests to disco dancing, the club is no DOA. However, one of the nights they leave, Somen hits on the idea of opening a women’s strip club. Paul hates the idea, but Dorothy is on board.
- Chippendales was born.
- We are introduced to Nick, who tells Sumen that his men must be trained to dance. Soomen makes a deal with him, and things start to look up.
- Paul and Dorothy are going to lunch when a director approaches her to work with him. Paul freaks out again, causing a commotion in the restaurant.
- He heads to Chippendales, where he snaps at Nick, who responds by firing him. Paul turns around as he tries to get Suomen to stand up for him, but he doesn’t.
- The first night with Nick in charge turned out to be amazing. Halfway through the show, Paul forces Dorothy to leave with him.
- When Somen gets home, he leaves a voicemail for Paul, who we see has killed Dorothy and himself.
- The second episode began with a news story about the murder/suicide of Paul and Dorothy
- With Paul out of the picture, Somen turns to Nick for help with the dance numbers, which they come to an agreement on.
- Nick hires the dancers himself after the auditions. One dancer named Otis catches Nick’s eye.
- We meet Erin, the accountant who has impressed Somen with some financial issues surrounding drinks and hires her right away.
- Somen and Irene come up with the idea of keeping the bar open but let the men in after the dancers are done to increase revenue.
- Irene and Sumin kiss.
- Nick doesn’t like that Otis is helping out behind the scenes with Somen and Erin.
- We meet Denise, who convinces Nick that she needs him. However, he was hesitant, but she proved herself worthy of wearing her ripped pants.
- Nick takes Denise to Somen to hire her, but he turns her down. Nick threatens her that he will walk away if he does not hire her. Erin being the level boss, mentions that she could save a bunch of money if she hired her, and he agrees.
Welcome to the Chippendales Season 1 Episode 3 Release date and time
Episode 3 is scheduled to be released on Hulu on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 12 AM. The third episode is titled “Velveeta” and will run for 40 minutes.
