See, after a year of old-fashioned hits and misses, this is easily what I’m looking forward to the most. The premise feels like the series leans heavily on the darker side of this character which made me even more excited. Wednesday is a character that hasn’t been explored much across any of the many films or shows we’ve seen since its creation Addams family. The intrigue level is high based on the premise and idea of building this world on Wednesday.

See, as someone who doesn’t like watching trailers, Wednesday has a chance to be one of the best trailers of 2022. Everything you could want from a trailer has this. You have a setup, and then this character’s introduction (Wednesday), and what you’re doing all the time is pushing you into this dark world that they’re building. The exceptional color palette, score, and costume design do a great job of making you want to watch the show. Was Jenna Ortega made for this role? I think this might be one of the better casting options we’ve seen this decade.
If this show was as big as I think it could be, then perhaps Netflix would have hit the home run with the merchandise and multiple seasons they could do with this show. I can’t wait for this offer.
