The first operational experimental open-source Play Station Vita emulator for Android OS called Vita3K.

Vita3K features 

The emulator’s graphics backend has progressively improved over the past two years; however, it isn’t yet flawless, but for the vast bulk of the Vita library, it is adequate.

Please remember that the project is in its early stages while opening new problems so you should prepare yourself for performance issues, limited compatibility, and crashes.

Currently Vita3K supports, Maidumps,.pkg, NoNpDrm, FAGDec, or manually decrypted games are supported by. (Vitamin dumps are not supported).

If you want to copy the games yourself rather than using the emulator, you may drag and drop the game folder into your pref path/ux0/app folder (not relevant for NoNpDrm dumps/.pkg files). The games should be in a.zip or.vpk format.

Requerments of the system 

There are no system files for the PS Vita necessary for Vita3K to run.

  • RAM: 4 GB minimum, quad-core 2.0+ GHz CPU (6 GB recommended)
  • Android 8 OS (or higher)
  • Storage: at least 32 MB

How to install 

  1. Click this link to download the BIOS file  part one on your browser and this link for BIOS file part two
  2. Place the BIOS files (part 1 and part 2) in the device’s /android/data/com.cobesoft.build22/bios directory. (If this folder isn’t already there, create it now.)
  3. Click this link to get the data file part one in your browser and this link for the part two file.
  4. Launch the app after placing the Data.obb files (part 1 and part 2) in the following location on your device: /android/data/com.cobesoft. build22/data

Downloading the firmware 

Some games can only be (low level) emulated by Vita3K if the system components are present. By using Vita3K to install the PS Vita firmware, this is possible.

The firmware and a supplementary firmware package containing the necessary system fonts may both be obtained from the official PlayStation website. Direct downloads of the typeface firmware package are available from the PlayStation servers.
