Early Wednesday morning, an active shooting was reported at Valdosta High School. All schools are closed and security forces are stationed in all schools.
Chaos has spread in the schools among the students, as many cases of panic and panic have occurred. The first responses have been made on the spot and the cases have been dealt with.

“School staff and local first responders immediately went to work sweeping the entire campus. No shooters or injuries were found during the search,” Valdosta City Schools said in a post on Facebook: “There have been reports of people suffering from panic and/or anxiety attacks. . They are taken care of by the first responders on site.
Valdosta High School released students early Wednesday and the safe return of students to their homes has been coordinated. Once responders reopen the main gates, parents will be allowed to pick up their students. Buses will also run and all students who drive to school will be allowed to go home for the day.
Brian Kemp released a statement following the reported hoax.

“Rest assured, for the criminals who orchestrated these hoaxes, we will hunt them down with all available resources,” Kemp said. “The FBI is actively investigating these acts of domestic terrorism, and we will continue to work diligently with them to ensure that these perpetrators are prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law.”
The WTOC station operating in Savannah reported that the hoax also affected high schools in Savannah and Brunswick.
