Oh Yeon Doo is an optimistic online lecturer who teaches the Korean language. After going through many hardships, she finally gets a stable home and career which allow her to prepare for marriage. However, a new dilemma of becoming a single mother occurs.
That is when she meets her doctor, Gong Tae Kyung. Although he chose to be a misogamist, a man who wishes to avoid marriage and a woman who is willing to birth a baby without a father starts a relationship. Hence, the contract romance begins with the baby as collateral. Would their impudent lie be able to fool their families to the end?
Oh Yeon Doo is a Korean language instructor who delivers online lectures – and has become a bit of an internet celebrity. Gong Tae Kyung, meanwhile, is a talented obstetrician and gynecologist from a prestigious family who specializes in infertility treatment. He has no intention of ever getting married. Both are happy with their lives and think they are successful. But then Oh Yeon Doo discovers that not only is her boyfriend of one year, Kim Joon Ha cheating on her; she is also pregnant from him, and it turns her perfect believed world upside down.
Oh Yeon Doo’s and Gong Tae Kyung’s paths always seem to cross at the oddest moments, and each time they end up helping each other. So in order to escape an unwanted marriage arranged by his family, he decides to engineer a “fake” contractual relationship with Oh Yeon Doo, making her his “wife.” But this move proves to be tricky because Jang Se Jin, Gong Tae Kyung’s brash first love, and Oh Yeon Doo’s now ex-boyfriend and father of her child, Kim Joon Ha, want to have a say in all this. Will Cupid be able to sort out this tangled mess of romance?

The series is a romantic family drama about the contractual relationship between language teacher and single mother Oh Yeon-do (Baek Jin-hee) and unmarried obstetrician-gynecologist Jung Tae-kyung (Ahn Jae-hyun). The good and bad moments of their family’s growth during pregnancy, birth, parenting, and upbringing will be recorded as the two explore the “true story” about Oh Yeon-Do’s baby.
Besides the previously confirmed Baek Jin Hee and Ahn Jae Hyun, Cha Goo Young and Jung Yoon Jae will also be taking part. Cha Goo Young will play Jang Se Jin, the confident and bold first secretary, and Jung Eui Jae will play Kim Jun Ha, an investment expert who believes that value investing is the most important thing in the world.
