The New Employee is a BL (boys’ love) drama that is set to be released on December 21, 2022 on the streaming platform WATCHA. It is based on the 2016 web novel and 2020 webtoon of the same name, both written by Moscareto and illustrated by Zec.

The drama tells the story of the romance between an advertising company manager, Kim JongChan, and an intern, Woo SeungHyun. Kwon Hyuk plays the role of JongChan, while Moon JiYong plays SeungHyun. Choi SiHun plays Na YooSeong, SeungHyun’s first love.

The story follows Seunghyun, a late bloomer in his late 20s who has finally landed his dream internship. On his first day at work, he meets Jongchan Kim, his new boss, who is handsome but cold.
