Ji Eun He was surprised to see Kim Som. She told Som that the picture of her and her boyfriend tells her everything — the guy is not her boyfriend because she’s picky about body proportions. Ji Eun tells Kim Som that she will catch the serial killer and asks her not to interfere. This is a huge request of Gi-eun, and it involves a lot of risk.

Meanwhile, Yun-o is scrolling through the dating app Somebody. Someone messages him, claiming to know him, and then requests a video chat. When the chat opens, the woman shows her face close-up and starts laughing; You ask, “How is his project doing?” which alerts Yun-o.

He has no idea who she is and asks who she is again, but gets no answers, and becomes a frustrated character. Yun-o keeps getting disturbing videos, where a woman asked him to choke her.

Yun-o ends up head on Mok wonHe moves towards her in a threatening manner. She offers him a fortune-telling session, keeping it as calm as possible. Yun-o asks her if she is friends with Kim Sum and wonders what her interest in him is. He cruelly calls Ji-eun a “wheelchair girl” and says she is irreplaceable.

Yun-o begins to justify his worldview, calling people trying to better themselves “worthless”. Mok-won smiles wryly at this statement and then laughs, but then Yoon-woo grabs her from her mouth. After confirming control, he let go of her mouth. He broke something emotional while Mok-won panicked. Yun-o leaves, leaving Mok-won in despair.

Mok-won then spoke to Ji-eun, tears streaming down her back. She tells her that they don’t have much time to bring Yun-o down. So the duo visited Kim Som. Mok-won unloads an evidence bag on Yun-o, and they use gloves to check a smartphone he used. Gi-eun thinks she has enough to issue an arrest warrant with Violent Crimes Division. Kim Som doesn’t think she has enough to prove violence, but it’s just a communication violation. Mok-won then reveals that Yun-o visited her, and the serial killer knows they are all friends.

With time running out, Mok-won tells Kim Sum that if she doesn’t tell them anything about Yun-o, they can’t win. Kim Sum reveals that she removed all her knives from her house after giving them to the serial killer. She hung her head shyly. Mok-won packs everything up and leaves in disgust.

Tensions rise in Somebody An epilogue with Yun-o beginning to lose control with a constant barrage of confusing video calls. Then Kim Sum receives a video call from Yun-o and they talk. Yun-o confesses to Kim Sum that he used her app to kill people. He wishes to meet her sooner, thinking that he might not be the killer he was if he had fallen in love with her first. Kim Som tells him to “start over,” but even we, the audience, can feel this is just wishful thinking.

The lovers meet and embrace, and sexual tensions rise as they undress. They lay briefly on the bed together, then Yun Ou walked away. Then, Yun-o brought a drink for Som as she worked in her office. Yun-o sits down, then Kim Sum begins to breathe deeply while patting herself on her finger. She’s done, and when she opens her eyes, she sees Yun-o isn’t even looking at her.

Eventually, Yun-o leaves, and Kim Sum tells him that she wants to go to their hideout. This is a tragic love story – a twisted woman who misunderstands her world falls in love with a twisted serial killer. The next day, Ji-eun suspects that Kim Sum will meet with Yoon-o and wants her to help locate him. Kim Som is hesitant about the matter and asks Ji Eun if she will bring the police; Remind her that she met someone very special.

Armed with more clues, Gi-eun teams up with her colleagues to track Yun-o down, using Kim Sum’s ID on the app. Meanwhile, Yun-o receives a message from Kim Sum, telling him that she doesn’t think she can do this so they can run away together. Yun-o tries to make her feel reassured, saying she will love it. However, Kim Som is not confident that things will change. The pair have a video chat. Yun-o tells Kim Sum that he loves her very much. Kim Sum then laughs, but as she does, Yun-o is slashed across the face and stabbed in the neck.

Yun-o is bleeding profusely on the ground as he looks at his killer and asks who they are. However, the person he killed does not respond. As he slowly dies, Kim Sum asks Yun-o on the video call to tell him one last time that he has a crush on her. So he does. She repeatedly asks him to tell her that he loves her. Obviously, he wasn’t talking to the real Kim Sum in the video chat. Meanwhile, the real Kim Sum leaves the building after killing Yun-o. She was the killer.

Sum takes off her gloves and cleans them. Yun-o’s death is drowned out. Then a friend carried her on a scooter.

Kim Sum goes full circle, playing arcade games, and her face lights up in the visuals. Happiness returns in her behavior. This was her first love.

The episode ends on a bittersweet feeling. The tormentor is gone, but there is a strangeness to the ending of the story.
