A video of a car salesman using blunt language in an attempt to sell a car has unsettled some Kingston residents, sparking a discussion about toxic masculinity in the sales industry.
In the video sent to CityNews, the employee is seen rolling around in a sports car before identifying himself as Brian from Paulette Auto Sales. “I just came in this BMW i8 and you want to know why? Because I ate [expletive] this morning, Mom,” he says after getting out of the car.
“I don’t know the price. I don’t know the year. But I can tell you for sure you’ll get some [expletive],” he said, pointing to his groin. The commercial-style sales video ends with the salesman saying, “That’s right. Paulette mommy car sales b**** er. Come buy that [expletive] now.”
