Turn based game like epic 7. Very similar mechanics but 3D.
Though if you played epic 7 they changed the soulburn mechanic. Basically consider this. If you have 10 souls you can do a soulburn. If you have 20 souls you do an improved version of the same soulburn. And if you have 30 souls you do an even better version of that soulburn. Game also seems to have dual attacks woven into character kits more often that e7(also you can dual with two characters which is pretty cool). And has chain atks(basically your whole team doing a combo with their s1s) which are also pretty cool.
Game may not look something world breaking but as someone who stuck through two cbts it just feels good to play. OST to my surprise has also been very good to far.
Story wise I basically am saving story reading for global release. So idk about how the story is : /
But E7 has no QOL… You got to farm stages to get fodders, then use penguins 1 by 1 to max them, then combine them… And repeat.
And if you do that you can’t farm hunts. Man, how I wish E7 have sweep. But yeah, dupe systems suck.
2nd cbt seems so long ago to me that my memory on it is a bit hazy. So I’d rather not misinform. Grinding did seem to be easier. But I can’t remember why lmao.
