NationsBenefits offers Grocery Card a convenient way for members to access healthy food choices. The grocery benefit can be integrated with the over-the-counter (OTC) benefit, offered as a standalone program, or included as part of a flex card program. The benefits can be customized to meet the needs of your health plan.
How NationsBenefits Cards Work
The prepaid Mastercard® cards work just like any other payment card. They don’t disrupt existing checkout processes and can be used at existing terminals and credit/debit card processing systems.
The OTC Benefit Grocery Card
As a member, you have access to a wide variety of OTC products through NationsOTC®. You can place an order through the website, mobile app, phone, or mail and enjoy two-day shipping at no extra cost.
The Flex Card Program
The flex card program is a convenient solution for members to personalize their care and can be customized to meet the needs of your health plan. It includes instructions on how to place an order, an order form, and a list of eligible products.
Grocery Card Balance Check
To check the balance on your NationsBenefits Grocery Card, go to Aetna.NationsBenefits.com or use the MyBenefits app to scan a product UPC barcode. You can also call NationsBenefits at 1-877-204-1817 for participating stores and eligible items.
Using Your Benefits Grocery Card
When shopping in-store, select “debit” at checkout and swipe your card. The available OTC spending allowance will be applied to eligible items and reflected in your total. If your total is more than your available balance, use another form of payment.

NationsOTC is your exclusive OTC delivery service, with options for online, app, phone, and mail delivery. Log in to your secure online account at Aetna.NationsBenefits.com, download the MyBenefits app, or call 1-877-204-1817 to place your order.
Ordering Deadline
To use your spending allowance before it expires at the end of each quarter, please mail your order form no later than 3/20/23 (first quarter), 6/20/23 (second quarter), 10/20/23 (third quarter), and 12/20/23 (fourth quarter). Unused allowances do not roll over to the next quarter.
