Activating Your MyBenefits OTC Card

To activate your MyBenefits OTC card, you will need to follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the page mybenefits.nationsbenefits.com/activate
  2. Enter the 16 digit card number and expiration date of your Benefits Mastercard® Prepaid Card.
  3. Enter your Date of Birth and Last Name provided to your health plan during enrollment.
  4. Finally, click on the Activate Card button.

Using Your MyBenefits OTC Card

You will automatically receive two debit cards, both in your name. Your spouse or dependent should sign the back of the card prior to using the card. Additional or replacement cards can be requested by sending an email to mb***@me*****.com.

Please provide your name, address, date of birth, phone number, and alternate member number. You also may contact our Customer Service Department at the number shown on your health plan ID card.

The first two cards are free. There is a $5.00 fee for each additional or replacement card, which will be debited from your flex account.

Managing Your Account

Once you sign up for the program and make your election during your employer’s enrollment process, you don’t need to take any further action. Your employer will notify MedCost of any new members to the flexible spending program who need a flex debit card. Once we are notified, we will order cards for the new members, based on the enrollment information received from the employer. You should automatically receive your flex debit card in the mail around the beginning of your coverage period.
