LoL Patch 13.17 patch notes: All Champion And All Updates

In the latest patch, the focus is on improving the experience for fighters who have been struggling with the current item options. Aatrox, Hecarim, Vi, and Xin Zhao are getting changes to their kits, aiming to make them more comfortable building a balance of damage and durability instead of full-squishy builds.

Furthermore, fighter items are being boosted to enhance durability. Goredrinker, Stridebreaker, and the reworked Spear of Shojin are being adjusted to provide fighters with enough tankiness for effective team fighting. Spear of Shojin’s buffs are specifically designed to make it an appealing second item choice for snowballing champions.

Champion durability is also being addressed, with outliers like Yasuo, Yone, Samira, Quinn, and Akshan receiving changes. Samira’s durability is being adjusted to a new standard, while Quinn and Akshan, who have been leaning towards squishier builds, are being updated as well. Adjustments are also being made to crit-lifesteal items to make Shieldbow more attractive compared to Bloodthirster. Moreover, Evenshroud is being nerfed to align with Locket of the Iron Solari, which should contribute to raising the average champion durability.

Excitingly, the Blue Essence Emporium is making its return in this patch. Running for two weeks starting from September 6 at 22:00 CEST, the Emporium offers a chance to spend Blue Essence before it concludes on September 20th, 2023 at 22:00 CEST. If you’re low on Essence, the mass disenchant feature introduced in the previous patch could help you utilize your accumulated champion shards effectively.
