Katie Siegmund, the 20-year-old influencer who posted a video of herself hitting a golf ball and throwing a golf club in the Grand Canyon, has been fined $285 for the TikTok stunt.
The US Attorney’s Office in Phoenix provided Insider with a copy of Sigmon’s collateral forfeiture agreement, which stated that the fine is related to two misdemeanor counts: disorderly conduct, and throwing/throwing objects into a canyon. Both are a Class B misdemeanor charge.
The US Courts Administrative Office’s Central Violations Office told Insider that it received two payments from Sigmond on November 15 totaling $285.
A local news outlet, the Arizona Republic, was the first to report the fine.
Sigmund became famous after a video of her hitting a golf ball and throwing golf clubs surfaced on the Grand Canyon Nation Park Facebook page in October. Sigmond originally posted the video to her TikTok page, which has more than 7 million followers, but has since deleted it.
