JEE Main 2023 will be conducted twice. The first session will be held in January and the second session in April 2023. The notification and exam dates have been issued by the agency.

The National Examinations Agency (NTA) has announced the 2023-24 academic session and has decided to conduct JEE (Main) 2023 in two sessions – Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 2 (April 2023).
JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages, namely English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu, as per a public notice by NTA.

JEE Main 2023
The JEE Main 2023 examination will be conducted by the National Examination Agency in the fourth week of April 2023 while the second stage examination is expected in the fourth week of May 2023. The examination-taking authority will release the JEE notification soon on its official website. Along with the notification, eligibility criteria and other details will be announced. Candidates can check details at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main 2023 application form is likely to be released in November 2022. Candidates must read the JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria first before applying for it. The National Examination Agency is conducting JEE Key Paper 1 for offer of admission into BE/BTech courses while JEE Key Paper 2 is conducting for admission into BPlan and BArch courses.

How to apply for JEE (Main) 2023:
Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the application at the bottom of the home page
Step 3: Click on New Registration and enter your details
Step 4: Once you have your application number and password, login with that
Step 5: Fill in the application form and upload the necessary documents
Sixth Step: Save, submit and pay the fees
Step 7: Download the application form for future reference
Candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021 and 2022 or must appear in 2023 while applying for the JEE (Main) Examination 2023. They can appear for the examination regardless of their age, however, they may be required to meet the age criteria of the institute ( institutions) to which they wish to join.
JEE (Main) consists of 2 papers – Paper 1 is conducted for admission into Undergraduate Engineering (BE/BTech) programs at NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) and other Institutes recognized or funded by the participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), conducted for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Paper 2 is made for admission to B Arch and B Planning courses.
