However, as of today, Enchanted Portals appears to be a project that has returned to prominence. And now we might get a chance to digest the story of this cute cartoon platformer from the 1950s.

There are significant delays in performing an air dash and using a shield spell, and the player will stop firing their weapon if changing weapons while holding the fire button. All of this makes for a very outdated experience.
Enchanted Portals is a brutally tough 2D shooter/platformer, featuring pretty terrible run-and-gun levels, but is saved by the often great and varied boss fights. A complete overhaul of the game controls and less random levels of running and weapons could improve this game greatly.
Pre-installed trapdoors:
It’s for a very specific target group, which is the starters. The smallest mistakes can be punished harshly and this can be very frustrating. However, for players who don’t give up after several failures, the gameplay is excellent.
I’ve always enjoyed 3D platformers since I was a kid, and even though I own a PS5, having never played Ratchet and Clank when this game was released, I was definitely interested overall due to its polished but unhurried look.
I was interested in the many techniques they used to achieve the end result, especially because of Insomniac and their mastery of 60fps ray tracing which I thoroughly enjoyed in Spiderman Miles Morales.
