The Post Elite episode 6 recap – What does Isadora inject Hugo with? It first appeared in Ready Steady Cut.
This recap of The Elite Season 6 Episode 6, “Tina,” contains spoilers.
“Tina” is one of those average, slow-paced episodes that doesn’t particularly move the plot but instead bobbles with the characters and their various predicaments. The problem is that we’re not halfway through the season at this point – we’re nearing the end, and while you can feel the pieces moving into place until the climax, the whole thing feels like a far cry from some of the mysteries that defined previous seasons when elite She was at the peak of her power.

Things like Ari’s father trying to convince her to cajole others into testifying in his defense is an obvious setup for later, while we continue to follow the motions of other ongoing subplots like Evan’s worsening breakdown and Isadora’s revenge mission. The first sees Evan attending a drug-fueled sex party that is presented as almost mundane when Patrick turns up there. It’s halfway between reality and a dream sequence, though “nightmare” would probably be more appropriate, at least for Patrick.
Meanwhile, Isadora spies on Niko’s new side dealing hormones, offering to pay for her phalloplasty if he will provide her with a very special substance that she fronted for personal use but is really part of a larger revenge plan. I’m not sure where I stand on Issei manipulating Nico’s desire for gender confirmation surgery for her own ends; It didn’t quite seem to align with the open-minded exploration of the trans experience that this season was trying to deliver, but then again no one ever said these characters were supposed to be nice people.
Same with Raoul and Sarah. The latter thinks that she and Raoul are taking it slow and that her abuser has completely turned things around, but he is so clearly manipulative that it is hard to take her seriously (even if she is frustratingly subtle). Mencia is the voice of reason in this dynamic, reminding Sarah that Panthers don’t just change their spots, and she’s proven right when Sarah returns home to be greeted by another bout of Raul’s aggression. Luckily, she was able to turn her social media channel against him by live-streaming his outburst and forcing him to leave.
Oh, we also get a little more about this whole Rocco and Bilal romance, but no one cares.
The next step of Isadora’s plan involves injecting Hugo with drugs given to her by Nico. It’s designed for chemically neutered for him. You can’t say she didn’t try the legal channels first.
