On our stay in Rabat we stayed in a riad in the heart of the Medina. For those who are not familiar with this word, the riad is the traditional Moroccan abode found in the ancient cities. These are dwellings built around a central courtyard, sometimes transformed into a dining room or living room. Bedrooms are located throughout this central location. Riads are always located on several floors, and their roof, which acts as a terrace, offers you a clear view of Medina. So we decided to stay in Rabat in a riad.

In fact, the riad is located in a small quiet street with very little traffic. It is located north of Medina, near the famous Kasbah of the Udayas.
