Of her opponent Ramla Ali, Mathie said, “I think she’s an unbelievable fighter, but very one-dimensional. She’s great in this dimension, but outside of that she struggles a bit. She doesn’t handle the pressure very well, and when she walks on her back foot, she’s a bit uncomfortable. She’s never played with someone like me before, and every week I play against girls who are better at sparring than she is.”
