By signing up with KQ Entertainment, Ateez catapulted itself into a better-funded competition, thanks in large part to sounding truly vibrant, dark, and slightly creepy. Reunited in 2016, they perfected for two years before releasing new songs in October 2018 with the songs “Pirate King” and “Treasure”, inspired by “The Pirates of the Caribbean”.
The dark vibe continued in their second EP, featuring standout songs such as “HALA HALA” and “Say My Name.” On the third EP, they tried to release a lighter, more summery sound which surprised fans, but was no less successful.
However, the band’s strength lies in their vocal weight (with some nasty bass drops) and close acquaintance with teenage fans.

ATEEZ: Fellowship, Break The Wall
Prudential Center – Newark
ATEEZ has an amazing energy on stage. This was my second time seeing them preform this year at the Prudential Center. They always give a top notch performance and experience. This extends to their crew and ATEEZ themselves. It’s definitely a must go to concert. There were a few minor issues that occurred at times such as lighting and live mixing however it was not super noticeable. Next time they are around I will definitely plan on going!
