On November 3, 2022, a brand new account named Aieleen1 was created on Twitch and used to stream explicit dis gu stin g content that afternoon. The account was banned soon after, with the video eventually deleted, but not before it managed to amass around 5,000 viewers on Twitch, and subsequently made waves online.
That same day on the subreddit /r/Livestreamfails, a thread created by Redditor shadowdoggie[1] reached the top spot on the sub with over 14,000 upvotes in 20 hours, initially linking and embedding the NSFW- video included, though the clip was removed in addition to the Twitch ban of Aieleen’s account.

Word of the explicit live stream quickly spread across the web to other social media sites on November 3, 2022, with memes also being created almost immediately. For example, Twitter user @Keizus_[2] posted a GIF from the game The Last of Us Part II in which the character looks at her card before jumping and falling off a building to explain that Twitch is frantically searching for the ban button to Aielieen1’s to beat account with (shown below). The meme got about 45 likes in 19 hours.
