A tweet from Anti Woke stated “BREAKING: According to media reports, George Soros died earlier today aged 92 in Hungary”.

Update: It appears this is an internet hoax started by “Anti Woke”, as speculation spread, there has been a follow-up Tweet confirming our suspicions that Gorge Soros is in fact, alive and well.

He does have a valid point, “stop believing what you read on the internet”.

Twitter has become more open since the Musk takeover, freedom of expression is very important, however it can also be a breeding ground for lies and misinformation. This whole story was started by a single tweet that spread like wildfire across the internet and was picked up by a dozen news outlets, including News in France.
