Lars-Ove ” Lasse ” Wellander, born June 18 , 1952 in Vikers parish in Nora municipality, Örebro county, died April 7 , 2023 in Övergrans district , Uppsala county, was a Swedish musician and music producer . Among other things, he had a long-standing collaboration with ABBA .
Biography
Wellander was the son of Åke Wellander and Anne-Marie, née Eriksson. He began his professional career as a 16-year-old in Peps & Blues Quality and has since worked with a wide range of artists, both in the studio and in various live and TV contexts. In March 2020, he was registered by SAMI (Svenska Artisters och Musikers Intresseorganisation) for participation in 6,331 works (titles), distributed over 1,698 different albums.
