“No money. He got the worst grade on his business plan for a college class. The professor said a chicken finger restaurant would never work. The banks said the same.
So, he took matters into his own hands and got a job as a boilermaker working 90 hour weeks in the L.A. refinery to raise his own money. After that, he went to Alaska and fished commercially for Sockeye Salmon, working 20 hour days in the dangerous conditions. When he returned, he had the money he earned and was able to get a SBA loan, just enough to start the first restaurant.
The first Raising Cane’s, “The Mothership”, was an old building he renovated himself with help at the entrance of LSU. During the renovation, they found an old mural on the original brick wall that inspired the design of their Raising Cane’s logo.”

What is the Caniac Club and what are its benefits?
The Caniac Club is a Customer appreciation program that has been developed to provide our Customers with special “Thank You” offers for being a member. Benefits of being a member include:

You can visit our participating Raising Cane locations to pick up your exclusive Caniac Club Card.
I have not received my Free Box Combo for registering, when will I receive it?
Your Free Box Combo will be loaded onto your card approximately 48 hours after you complete your registration for Caniac® Club. And you should receive an email notifying you that you have received this offer. Please ensure that you have opted in to receive emails by logging in to your account at www.caniacclub.com. Go to Edit Account Information. Then select “Yes, I would like to receive emails and exclusive offers from Raising Cane’s Caniac Club.”
I lost my Caniac® Club card, what do I do?
