The people we hate at the wedding It is the latest romantic comedy movie from Prime Videoon the basis of success 2016 Novel of Self by Grant Ginder. The movie is directed by Claire Scanlon (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), with a screenplay by the Molyneux sisters (bob burger And the Deadpool 3). Silly Wedding, released November 18, focuses on the reunion of American siblings Alice (Kristen Bell) and urine (Ben Platt(with their wealthy and hated half-sister Eloise)Cynthia Addai Robinson), who is getting married across the pond, in stately old London.
Bonding this fractured family together is their loud, outgoing mother Donna, played by the always amazing Allison Janney (I’m Tonya). Eloise’s father and Donna’s first husband, Henrique (Isaac de Bancol) is a wealthy Frenchman who transferred most of his fortune to his daughter, Eloise. Paul and Alice are jealous of Eloise’s good fortune, hence the deep resentment. Donna hopes that the wedding will finally bring all of her children together, so that they can put aside their grievances and return to one big, happy family again.
Alice and Paul get drunk and travel to London for the wedding preparations, which include the usual Malarkey. There are awkward meal dates, a bachelor party from hell and an unforgettable rehearsal dinner for the hapless family to endure before the big day. Critics were decidedly lukewarm about this film, calling the film devoid of humor and generally a wasted opportunity. It currently holds a 31% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 5.4 score on IMDb.

Los Angeles
The end credits indicate that the production had a dedicated Los Angeles unit, where the majority of the earlier scenes were filmed. Alice’s character is set in a California city and her story involves the use of office blocks, restaurants, and bars. The movie doesn’t really use any famous or movie sites and sticks to your general settings. Alice’s office is contemporary and minimalistic, while the restaurant scenes with Jorma Taccone’s Jonathan use standard, inoffensive backdrops.
London
Eloise is located in an affluent corner of London and site explorers make great use of the posh side of the city. There is a street that appears to have been stolen directly from a website Paddington The movies and the movie even make some passing references to this particular franchise. Alice checks into the luxurious The Langham Hotel. While the funky stag party is taking place on the River Thames. There are more sequences in bars, restaurants, the airport and surprisingly a British Taco Bell they all seem to be authentically based in the UK.
British countryside
Finally, the movie is set in the beautiful British countryside. The eventful rehearsal dinner is filmed inside a marquee tent, which may be on location, but is more likely to be a set design shot in a studio. While the big day itself includes exterior shots showing a luxurious wedding venue and an attractive chapel in the background.
