13 Sins is a 2014 American horror-thriller film directed by Daniel Stamm. The film is a remake of the 2006 Thai comedy horror film 13 Beloved. Plot
“13 Sins” is a horror-thriller movie that revolves around the life of a down-on-his-luck salesman named Elliot Brindle (played by Mark Webber). He is struggling to provide for his pregnant fiancé, his mentally ill brother, and his demanding father. When he receives a mysterious phone call telling him that he’s been selected to participate in a hidden-camera game show that will pay him a fortune if he completes 13 challenges, he is initially hesitant. However, as the challenges become increasingly dangerous and depraved, Elliot finds himself drawn deeper into the game, risking everything he holds dear.
As Elliot completes each task, the stakes get higher and the challenges become more extreme. He is forced to confront his deepest fears and darkest desires as he navigates a twisted and deadly game. However, orchestrated by a shadowy organization. Along the way, he is assisted by a rogue cop named Chilcoat (played by Ron Perlman) who has been investigating the organization behind the game.
As the challenges become more and more sadistic, Elliot begins to question whether he can continue. But he is already in too deep. He must face the ultimate challenge – to kill someone – in order to win the grand prize. Moreover, The movie ends with a shocking twist that reveals the true nature of the game and the people behind it.
