Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Screenshot Leaks Reveals Battle Pass
A screenshot from Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios’ upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, has leaked online, revealing that the game features a battle pass. The game is an action-adventure game that is based on the DC Comics supervillain/anti-hero team the Suicide Squad.
Battle Pass
Going by the details visible in the leaked screenshot, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League features a battle pass, possibly for cosmetics. The game is online-focused and features 4-player co-op support, thus players will likely have the opportunity to personalize the appearance of each of the main characters featured in the game. The leaked screenshot from the menu screen in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League reveals a battle pass tab, as can be seen below.
Menu Options
Other options available to players include the standard mode, chapter, and difficulty selection along with matchmaking settings. In addition, the tab at the top features a slew of options, ranging from squad selection, looks customization, and a section dedicated to talents, possibly including some sort of a skill tree. Additionally, the menu features a section dedicated to social features, which likely allows players to maintain an in-game friends list and possibly play with people on other platforms via crossplay. Rounding up the list of menu options is a section dedicated to the battle pass, an in-game store, a section for codex, and an options sub-menu for game configuration.
In-game currencies
The screenshot also reveals 6 in-game currencies that will likely be purchasable via store micro-transactions as well as via in-game activities, much like in other GAAS titles.
Graphics and Performance modes
It is currently unknown whether Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will feature the option to choose from Graphics and Performance modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X, as seen in several other titles. The other co-op focused DC Universe title from Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, Gotham Knights, did not feature the aforementioned options on current-gen consoles.
Leak Verification
A former Rocksteady developer has seemingly confirmed that the recent Suicide Squad leaks are fake. Del Walker, who is a former Rocksteady character artist now working for Naughty Dog, tweeted that the leaks were not real. However, many Reddit users are questioning the validity of the leaks being fake, especially as some testers have almost confirmed the leaks.
