Fellowship patch notes reveal new Halloween event, alongside DPS buffs for tank and healers

Fellowship’s momentum continues, with the early access game getting a surprise Halloween event. The Fellowship patch notes detail what’s in store for the event, including Halloween skins for all heroes and two new broom mounts for the game.

The Fellowship Halloween patch notes largely detail limited-time rewards. From October 30 to November 13, players can log in to play the event. Each hero has a Halloween skin to unlock. To do this, simply play 10 dungeons on any hero, and you will then unlock the ability to purchase the skin for 60 gold each. It’s relatively cheap, it’s about 2-3 scraps of Adept grade gear items. So it should be easily affordable to get the skins you want. You can also get two new broom-themed mounts. The Haunted Broom costs 120 gold, while the Villain’s Broom costs 480 gold. These are much more expensive to acquire, but they can certainly be grown if you commit to it. There’s a teaser of what the skins and mounts look like here.

Outside of the Halloween event, we’ve also had some major balance changes. Both Sylvie and Vigor’s damage increased. There are direct damage buffs to their hero abilities. Sylvie even had her shroom explosion cap increased from 5 to 8 targets, making her stronger for the larger attacks that some tanks perform. Meanwhile, Helena received additional damage buffs from her abilities, as did Meiko. Although Meiko nerfed her ultimate slightly to balance out the changes to her other abilities, like Spirited Vortex.

DPS players also have buffs. Elarion also gets some love, with a 20% increase in Celestial Shot and Highwind Arrow. Heartseeker took 15% more damage and other useful changes to make his rotation sometimes feel less spent. These should improve his damage profile a lot for those high-end naked runs where he starts to feel the pinch compared to other DPS.

The other most notable thing in the patch is the better buff and debuff trackers. The new Active Ability Tracker gives Sylvie better tracking of the petals of life, the flowering of the heart and the refuge. Elarion’s Starfall Volley is also present to better time your AOE availability. Meiko’s Twin Souls: Bulwark is also here. More will come with later patches. There are also the first signs of a better buff/debuff bar with customizable passives, gems and more followed by weapon nodes if you want.

Apart from this, there have been other minor changes and bug fixes. If you’re interested, you can check out the full Fellowship patch notes on Steam.
