GTA 6 Opening Mission Could Cause Chaos, Gamers in Agreement

Kworld Trend | GTA 6 Opening Mission Could Cause Chaos, Gamers in Agreement ,

Both Red Dead Redemption 2 And Grand Theft Auto V start in the snow and see our main characters fighting for survival in all its variations as the weather deteriorates.

This seems to be a Rockstar Games staple and one r/GTA6 fan from Reddit thinks something similar could be on the horizon for the opening mission of Grand Theft Auto VI.

With only a few months left until we can finally get our hands on what is perhaps the most anticipated video game of all time, fans are starting to feel the hype and, in the meantime, have been analyzing what Rockstar has provided us so far in detail.

At the time of writing, we have received two official trailers from Grand Theft Auto VI alongside a dedicated website and as a result, one fan believes they may have just figured out exactly how the game will begin.

“We can be almost certain GTA6 will open with a storm,” explained Comprehensive_Cap611.

Alongside a screenshot of protagonist Jason atop a roof seemingly fixing a leak, it seems like this seemingly innocent moment might just hint at a much bigger picture.

“Basically, every Rockstar game opens with harsh weather conditions to create a frenetic setting that will have you hooked before sending you out into the vast open world,” the post continues.

“We often use snow, but in the case of Miami, a hurricane is much more likely.

We also get a shot in Trailer 2 of Jason fixing up his house. I think it could be following a storm.

It might not be an action-packed debut, but it would certainly make sense based on the footage we’ve seen so far, especially since Rockstar confirmed that some gameplay clips were included in the second trailer.

GTA 6 could become big

As the original poster also pointed out, this moment could also introduce us to supporting character Brian who will no doubt give Jason some menial tasks to complete before embarking on the bigger missions we’ve come to expect and love from Grand Theft Auto.

If GTA VI will start with a storm is still unconfirmed, but other fans were quick to share their thoughts.

“I don’t agree that ‘every’ Rockstar game opens with harsh weather conditions, but I think it would be cool if a hurricane was a major plot point,” one user suggested.

“They could definitely use a post-hurricane setting as a way to place the characters in an area with lots of obstacles they have to navigate their way out of during a shootout.”

Another user agreed with this reasoning, adding: “Hopefully there will be a heavy buildup to a storm and a heist at the height of the hurricane. Could be epic.”

It remains to be seen what the first moments of Grand Theft Auto VI will bring us, but there is no doubt that, by Rockstar standards, it will be incredible, to say the least.
