MCU Makes Fantastic Four Movie Announcement, Dr Doom Hype Intensifies

Marvel made a new MCU announcement and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

Fantastic Four: first steps was the last MCU movie to hit the big screen, and I think it’s safe to say we all enjoyed it.

Although some aspects of the film may have been a little too cautious, the film featured decent performances, brilliant special effects, and an exciting teaser for Avengers: Apocalypse. This is truly a great film to begin closing out the multiverse saga of the series.

However, we have a little over a year left before we see this cliffhanger bear fruit. In the meantime, though, a new announcement from Marvel might help get us in the mood.

Marvel Announces Fantastic Four: First Steps Disney Plus Release Date

Marvel announced that Fantastic Four: first steps will arrive on Disney Plus on November 5, 2025. So if you’ve been wanting to rewatch the film in the months since its theatrical release, you’ll soon be able to watch it on the comfy couch.

It will be available with all subscriptions to the streaming service and will likely arrive with a few extras and alternate viewing options, as some Marvel films have done in the past.

This will be a good reason to return to it in the coming months as the hype builds for Avengers: Apocalypsethis is where the main actors of the film will meet for their next adventure.

Fantastic Four: first steps was released in July and marked the titular team’s debut in the MCU. The film is set in the 1960s, where the team faces a cosmic force in the form of Galactus, who threatens to devour Earth.

Attempts have been made in the past to adapt Fantastic Four for the big screen, but none have really come to fruition. Before that, there was a film canceled in 1994, two films in the same continuity released between 2005 and 2007, and another reboot in 2015.

In terms of future MCU projects ahead Avengers: ApocalypseHowever, we still have Spiderman: Brand new day released in July.

Several television series are also in development, with Wonderful man which will begin in January 2026 and will be closely followed by Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 in March. Finally, VisionQuest broadcast at the end of 2026, with the second season of Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
