Reynoldsburg school dance shooting, A fight broke out during homecoming at Reynoldsburg High School’s Livingston campus late Saturday night, according to Reynoldsburg City Schools.
District officials say the fight broke out in the school’s field house, and police had to disperse the crowd using pepper spray.
This led to the student being transferred to a nearby hospital.
Students involved in the altercation will face consequences ranging from a 10-day suspension to recommendations for expulsion, district leaders said in a statement sent to parents.
Despite the rumors, Columbus police and area leaders say no shooting occurred during the incident. Police added that balloons exploded during the accident. The homecoming ended early as a result of the accident.
The battle is still under investigation.
