After the blade is dropped on Boone’s neck, everyone in the vicinity suddenly falls asleep and wakes up to find his dead body near the guillotine. Celera is overjoyed at this and celebrates Boone’s death by claiming that the Devil is too late to save his partner. But it turns out that Fushi never left Bon alone even though he specifically asked for it. When Fushi learns of his planned execution, he decides to save his friend. Fortunately, the Tonari notes became so useful in this case that Fushi used them to make a powerful sleep medicine.
At the moment when Bon was about to be executed, Fushi flew over the crowd and sprayed medicine from above. Everyone was unconscious for a moment and he saved his friend when the blade was about to cut his neck. He leaves behind a fake corpse to fool everyone and later returns to the Ural Kingdom with Bon, who meets his family just after they return from his funeral. Now, this was a chance for him to start a brand new life and Boone decided he was better off without the burden of aristocracy on his shoulders.
When Bon later sees Iris (i.e. Todo), he is shocked because he remembers meeting her when he was young. It turns out that Iris’ father worked as a tailor for the Boone family but there was a rule that the prince was not allowed to meet a female outside of the immediate family. After being told to leave, she breaks into the castle when she is young and leaves a handkerchief behind for Boone. But given her current condition, Boone refuses to recognize her, which naturally disappoints Iris. However, they later seem to slowly resolve their differences.
