His family was very supportive, but the movie was starting to affect them. Sadly, his recent move to Atlanta resulted in the coach placing him in the practice squad. The waning star invites Bobby and his family to his house for a party. Unfortunately, Bobby is embarrassed by Madden’s little kid, which causes them to leave the party.
On their way home from the party, Bobby discovers that Anderson (a young R.B.) signed a copy of Madden and gives it to his daughter. He gets scared and pulls the car to throw the toy away. However, while moving between him and his daughter, lightning strikes the toy and causes a massive tremor. Well, one day Callie plays Madden on the run, and Bobby plays the drill of his life. When he gets home, he shows some of the plays he put on during practice, and Callie realizes that they were the same plays she did earlier when she was playing the game.
You probably read all of it and you were like, maybe this movie is cheesy. You may be right, but it is the kind of movie that you watch with your family and enjoy. I’m a huge Madden fan, and the idea of controlling someone on a real field is fun to think about. I loved the concept because it felt original at a time when nothing was original. So you can’t help but enjoy it.
The big question is, will Bobby and Callie get arrested? And if they do, what happens to them or Bobby’s career? Below, I detail an ending fantasy football.
Fantasy Football Ending Explained – Are Bobby and Callie Caught?
In the locker room, Anderston claims Madden and Kaley helped him get good again. But unfortunately, when he went to show them, the recording was deleted, and Anderson made a complete fool of himself in front of the team. Sadly, when Bobby took to the field, he came back to struggle like he did the last few seasons by fumbling the ball.
After his relationship with his family, Bobby struggles in the playoff game which results in him being benched. Sitting in the stands, Kaley realizes that she figured out the algorithm to predict plays in the final moments of the game. After a distraction, Callie arrives at the stadium and engages the team in a plan to help them get to the Super Bowl. Coach Evans says he might be fired if the play doesn’t work but he agrees to put it up. Of course, the wild game works, and the Saints head to the Super Bowl, making Bobby and Callie look good while the team works together.
So Bobby and Callie were never officially caught by anyone. Instead, they manage to make it all work, including winning the Super Bowl and repairing their relationship.
